Electric Cars the Zenn Way

First things first, there’s nothing spiritual about Zenn cars, as Zenn stands for ‘Zero Emission, No Noise’, it’s small and cute and specially appeals to people who are planning to buy electric car. The Zenn is a two seat hatchback available in blue, silver or natch green for about $16,000 dollars. The real reason for its popularity, is that it costs you about 3 cents a mile for running a Zenn car, while a regular gasoline car costs you around 10 cents for the same distance. The Zenn can travel for about 30 to 50 miles on a full charge, which takes around 8 hours.
However, some people like Russ Rader of Insurance Institute are concerned about the safety standards of electric cars. As more and more manufacturers are developing and putting out electric cars for sale, the need for improving their safety standards grows. However some Zenn car owners like Eric Foss of Alameda aren’t worried, Eric says that he usually moves around at 25 mph, which means that he can only be in an accident, if someone purposely tries to run him down. Moreover the damages from accidents are worst at high speeds, which is not a possibility with Zenn.
